The story
Spidey was sitting on a big brick bridge. He did a little kick. He did a little flick. It was a nice, quiet day — until he heard a DRIP.
DRIP. DRIP. DRIP! A big pipe had a split in it! Water was dripping everywhere. A little pig slipped in a puddle. A little kid tripped on the wet bit!
"I will fix this!" said Spidey. He did a big FLIP off the bridge. He did a quick ZIP through the air. WHIP! His web hit the pipe — but the split got BIGGER!
"Yikes!" said Spidey. The drip became a river! Fish were swimming in the street. A kitten hid in a bin. This was a BIG, BIG fix.
Spidey had to THINK. He bit his lip. He tapped his chin. Then he got a BRILLIANT idea! He needed something thick to stick in the split!
Spidey needs to fix the pipe! What should he use?
What happens next?
- Spin a thick web plug!
- Fill it with bricks and sticks!
Spidey spun a BIG, THICK web. He twisted it and twisted it until it was a big sticky disk. STICK! He hit it right in the split. The drip stopped! The fix was in!
Spidey picked up six bricks. He picked up six sticks. He fit them in the split — bit by bit by bit. CLICK! The last brick fit! The drip stopped!
The pig did a jig. The kid did a skip. The kitten licked a fish. Everyone was grinning! "You did it, Spidey!" they said. "What a brilliant fix!"
Spidey did a flip. He swung on his zip. He went back to sit on his big brick bridge. "Fixing things," he said with a grin. "That is my FAVOURITE bit!" The end.
