The story

Sir Sam was small. Very, very small.

"You are too SMALL!" said the big knights.

The big knights say Sam is too small. What should Sam do?

What happens next?

  • Show them now!
  • Wait for a chance!

Sam lifted a heavy log. Huff! Puff! "See!" he said.

Sam smiled and crossed his arms. He would wait for the right moment.

"Small is good!" said Sam. "Watch me!"

A BIG cat was stuck up a tall, tall tree.

The big knights were too big to fit in the small tree.

How should small Sir Sam rescue the cat?

What happens next?

  • Climb the ladder!
  • Swing on a rope!

Sam climbed up and saved the cat. "Got you!" he said.

Sam swung up and grabbed the cat. "Wheee!" he said.

The big knights want to hear the story! How does Sam tell them?

What happens next?

  • Act it out!
  • Draw a picture!

Sam acted out every part! The big knights laughed and cheered!

Sam drew the whole story on the wall! The big knights loved it!

"Small IS brave!" said the big knights. They all cheered.
